Ship's Log #2
The first level, free, in your browser or on Windows. Behind it: the biggest week of the build so far.

The demo is out. The first level of the game is free to play, right in your browser or as a Windows download, and the first feedback from strangers is in: the opening runs long, the keyboard is awkward, the bosses go down too easily. All three are being answered.
It was also the biggest week of the build so far. The second picture has the whole list. The short version:
- The first Act now plays from New Game to its last scene, with eighteen side quests around it.
- Four skill trees, 137 talents.
- Armour, weapons and shields that show on your cadet, piece by piece.
- New keyboard and mouse controls: you aim with the mouse.
- Big attacks now show where they will land, a moment before they do.
- The ship's escaped creatures, redrawn as promised. Three of the fifteen are in the third picture.
Most of that is in my own build for now; the first level's share of it comes to the demo with its next build.
Which of the three creatures would you least like to meet in a dark corridor?
